Self-portrait April 2024 from my ongoing project Acerbumdulce. Challenging perceptions of how septuagenarian women are perceived.

It’s World Art Day so a good opportunity to share this wonderful book by @dawn_s_rodgers that I received on Saturday. ‘Sorrow’ is a beautifully designed & tender book about the loss of Dawn’s brother. The archival snapshots of happier times are heartbreaking to look at, their context altered by time.

Thrilled that an image from my project ‘Acerbumdulce’ has been selected by the LensCulture editors to be featured in the online Critics’ Choice 2024 Competition Gallery.
